Created by former bartenders and current food enthusiasts in Richmond, Virginia, these simple syrups are made with high quality, fresh ingredients to elevate your cocktails to the next level.
This syrup is a perfectly balanced mix of smoky, spicy, tart, and sweet. It's about a 5 on a 1-10 scale of how spicy a jalapeno can be. It makes a killer margarita, but it also tastes great with gin, mezcal and vodka. Try it in a paloma or a gimlet for garden-y herbacious notes!
This is one of those flavors that has true addicts. People who buy it buy it consistently and use it all the time! They use the entire grapefruit when they make it, so you will taste the bitter bite from the rind along with the tart-sweet flavor of the juice. The rosemary adds a savory note, while the raw sugar brings it all together. It's one of the most versatile flavors, and it pairs well with every liquor. For an especially good match, try it in a paloma, old fashioned, or gimlet.
This simple syrup is a juice bomb with a long lasting vanilla finish. They use only whole, Grade A Tahitian vanilla beans to make it. It really shines with dark liquors, such as bourbons, whiskeys, and dark rums. It also makes a wonderful addition to coffee or hot chocolate! Try it out in a manhattan or old fashioned (add some chocolate bitters if you have them!) to see what this flavor is really all about.
This is Crescent's flagship product, the very first simple syrup they made. It tastes like you walked out into the garden and plucked some fresh basil and strawberries to muddle into your drink. It makes a killer fresh lemonade to help you cool off during the summer. Serve a glass to your kids and then spike yours with 2 ounces of vodka! It pairs well with pretty much everything, but it's especially good in sours of any kind (whiskey, gin, you name it), daiquiris, and lemondrops.
Peach Hibiscus syrup is made from Virginia grown Chiles Orchard peaches and dried hibiscus flowers. It is bottled at the height of peach season every year, and once we run out of it, it's gone until the next year! It tastes like a sweet, juicy peach that drips down your chin when you bite into it, and the hibiscus adds just enough tartness to balance it out. It makes an absolutely delicious sweet iced tea, meant to be enjoyed in a rocking chair on a wide front porch. The ideal liquors to pair it with are vodka, rum, tequila, and whiskey. Try it in a whiskey sour, mint julep, or daiquiri to start.
Apple Spice is made from fresh apples from Central Virginia Crown Orchards, whole cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, and cloves, and just a bit of lemon for some added zest and brightness. We were noodling on this flavor for a long time before we released it because we wanted it to be perfect. It tastes like a warm apple pie by the fireplace, and who doesn't love that?!? It's especially delicious with dark liquors, like aged rums and whiskeys, but we've also made a pretty killer spiked tea with Apple Spice, some black tea, and vodka.
