Retail Associate - Richmond & Harrisonburg, VA

We are looking for a friendly, creative, and hardworking individual to join our team as Retail Associate at our retail locations in Richmond and Harrisonburg, Virginia. This position will be responsible for working weekday and weekend shifts at our retail store, assisting customers with checkout, retail merchandising, inventory, and other tasks.

This is a part-time, hourly position. Richmond store seeks to fill 15-20 hours weekly, and Harrisonburg store seeks to fill 8-15 hours weekly. Must be able to work at least two weekends per month, including weekends in November and December during the holiday season.

Salary: Competitive hourly pay based on experience plus annual holiday bonus and paid time off.

Start Date: August 2024

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Provides exemplary customer service, connects and engages with customers to cultivate a memorable retail experience 
• Becomes an expert on Lineage products and other product lines we carry
• Assists with incoming store inventory, adds products using point of sale software
• Restocks products and assists with merchandising displays
• Assists with social media marketing as needed

Qualities & Skills:

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Understanding of Lineage brand, its product line, and appeal to customers
• Passionate about handmade and locally made products
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to make genuine connections with customers
• Able to multitask and work independently
