We are seeking a few dedicated and creative individuals to staff our new cafe and retail location in Richmond, Virginia, set to open in Fall 2025. This position will be responsible for assisting customers with orders, preparing espresso drinks and other beverages.
This new Lineage-adjacent location combines our passion for handcrafted goods with our love for coffee in a cozy, community focused setting. Customers will be able to enjoy espresso, coffee drinks, pastries and light fare, alongside a curated selection of high quality, handcrafted goods from Lineage and other makers and artists.
This is an hourly position and is eligible for tips. Part time (15-25 hours per week) and full time (30-40 hours per week) positions are available. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and handmade goods, with barista and customer service experience in a cafe or food service setting.
Starting Pay Range: $15-$18 per hour plus tips

Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop a knowledge of all our offerings, including coffee drinks and retail goods
- Prepare all espresso drinks and beverages to a high standard of quality
- Greet, welcome, and provide exceptional service to every customer
- Be able to educate customers on coffee, beverages and other offerings
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner
- Keep cafe equipment, bar and table areas clean and in working order
- Assist with prep, dish washing, and restocking retail displays

Retail Associate
Richmond, Virginia
We are looking for a friendly and hardworking individual to join our team as Retail Associate at our Carytown retail location in Richmond, Virginia. This position will be responsible for assisting customers, receiving and entering inventory, retail merchandising, and other tasks.
This is a part-time, hourly position, working approximately 15-20 hours per week. Must be able to work weekends and available to work during our peak holiday season from November 1 through December 31.
Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Retail and customer service experience is preferred.
Starting Pay Range: $16-$18 per hour

Primary Responsibilities
- Provides exemplary customer service, connects and engages with customers to cultivate a memorable retail experience
- Assists customers with check out as well as handling returns and exchanges
- Becomes an expert on Lineage products and other product lines we carry
- Processes and enters store inventory using point of sale and e-commerce software
- Restocks products and merchandises store displays
- Assists with setting up maker pop-ups, tastings, and other special events
- Assists with social media stories as needed
