Opinel

No. 6 Pocket Knife with Color Handle

The No.06 is the smallest model that features the Virobloc safety ring which will lock the knife securely open, or closed. Take it everywhere, or hang it from places with the leather lanyard. It is small enough to be placed in a pocket or purse and you'll be surprised how often you use it!

The Opinel knife is named after the Opinel family from the Savoie region in the heart of the French Alps. In 1890, Joseph Opinel invented a small folding knife that would eventually become a must-have item of French “savoir-vivre”. It’s now considered a design icon throughout the world.

The blade is made with Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome and requires no special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% provides an excellent cutting edge.
